We filmed Glad Hearts at The Raconteur where Mallory and Cassidy volunteered at. They asked if I had been there before. Loads of times. The first being a screening of Pilar Timpane's documentary, the second because of Mark Doty's reading. I laughed. The connectedness of it all was beginning to be amusingly absurd. We had a good time.

I think I was the calmest with Glad Hearts than any other musician I've been with. I love their music and I thought it would make me into this bumbling, mumbling, shy, little fool. But, no. They're fantastic people.

But on quiet nights after the shoot, I still think about this machine that John Terry was alluding too. Someday, I want to see if Pollifax could withstand it.
